The foam inserts in your new spa cover are protected with a heat-sealed vapor wrap. Over time, the vapor seal deteriorates allowing moisture to reach the foam making the cover very heavy. Our vapor seal upgrade shields the foam inserts from the negative effects of time and the chemicals used to maintain your water chemistry.

A spa cover skirt is the portion of your fabric that extends down from your cover bottom and overlaps the top of your spa. Cover skirts help protect the acrylic part of your spa from UV damage so it’s important that they hang down enough to cover the acrylic.

Your new cover will be made with 1 ½ lb density virgin foam inserts. You can upgrade to 2 lb density virgin foam. Higher density foam is more rigid, more stable, increases heat retention and will provide increased resistance to water logging.

Every new spa cover includes four (4) locking tie downs. Each tie down is approximately 9 1/2″ long including the attached clip. To secure all 4 sides, one tie down will be attached near each corner. If you would like custom tie down placement, you are required to attached a diagram showing where you would like your tie downs attached. We can’t guarantee the attached clips will be the same size, exact placement, or that tie downs will line up with your existing locks, so new locks and mounting hardware are included with your new cover.
If you are choosing extra tie downs you MUST attach a diagram during the checkout process showing the desired tie down placement. You can print the diagram from the Measuring Guide tab below and use that to designate where you would like your tie downs.

Locking tie down straps that run across the top of your cover to help hold it securely in place. Tie Down Straps adjust from 6′ to 12′, and include a male clip on each end, 2 female locks and mounting hardware.

If your cover arrives and there is obvious damage that occurred in transit, you should refuse the cover and we will ship you a replacement. If you choose the Shipping Insurance Option when you order your cover, we will replace your cover if you find damage to the cover that was not visible at the time of delivery. Just call us within 24 hours of accepting the cover and we’ll take care of the rest.
